• jet pack guy doesn't actually like being called jpg! however, over time, he got used to it and doesnt mind it as much!
• jet pack guy knows how to fly aircrafts! he was the pilot for the muppets tour party :0!
• jet pack guy likes to write jet pack memoirs with flash!
• jet pack guy is a pretty good swimmer! he's swam laps with his jet pack on before!
• jet pack guy has wrestled a wild puffle before!
• jet pack guy knows how to breakdance!
• jet pack guy's favorite food is hardtack!
• jet pack guy is the only EPF member to not be an official club penguin mascot (as in, able to be met on parties and to give out backgrounds), despite his reoccuring appearances in modern club penguin media. often, club penguin fan servers include him as a mascot because of that. my theory? he was always intended to be a mascot!! the team just never had the time to implement him >:(
• jet pack guy lifts, and has workout equipment in his igloo.
• despite jet pack guy's serious attitude during the modern era of club penguin, he was originally very nonchalant in his first appearances! his texting style also mirrored that (which is odd, because im pretty sure that was during the EPF era! which counts as modern?).
• jpg is confirmed to be black by the team! its a common headcanon that is by the fandom, but it was all the more confirmed by one of the writers (also apparently they thought he would sound like those old spice commercials which is kinda funny). his VA in club penguin island, chris jai alex, is also black!

• jpg is trans!! this is quite a common hc among the fandom but i just!! i hold this one very near and dear to my heart.
• he has autism!
• ^ he isnt very emotionally expressive, im not a suuuper big fan of the big serious guy nature they decided to give him all of a sudden! i'd like to imagine that for the most part he's actually very chill and cares a LOT! he just comes off as really intimidating by other agents and its easy for his demeanor to be misinterpreted
• can be very blunt at times, the things he say can end up coming off as rlly mean and condescending even when he doesnt mean it. (literally all of the bad endings of rookie's secret mission im sorry jpg but i really REALLY CANT DEFEND YOU FOR MOST OF THAT)
• lorna from the tv specials is his lil sister! (very random hc)
• he likes very plain food, (although i want to refuse to believe that anyone could like HARDTACK as their favorite food, i will respect my king's interests), he's a big fan of pancakes, though he'd never say it.
• (semi-canon) does genuinely trust rookie (ahh rookie jetkie mention!!) and respect him. they're both permanent mission partners!

disclaimer: some of the content here (books, pages, etc.) are mostly rookie-centered! jpg is a very integral character to rookie's development, since rookie looks up to him, idolizes him, and views him as a best friend. jpg and his attention nd validation is very much written to be unattainable in rookie's eyes, he's the "cool guy" rookie wants to impress no matter what. the two are complementary characters, it's very cute, but also, THIS AINT ABOUT HIM!!!!!!!! RAHHHHH

• his voicelines in CPI!!! i actually rlly like his CPI voice alot.. not like the BIGGEST fan of CPI in general but i'll tell u it fueled my love for him!!
• club penguin official annual 2013 has some of my favorite stories featuring him and rookie!! they build a lot on their character dynamic. it's basically jetkie the official book ft. the epf
• agent rookie's secret mission follows the plot of rookie and the reader trying their best to solve missions in order to achieve rookie's dream: impressing jet pack guy! the bad endings are pretty sad, as it leads to jet pack guy showing disappointment, but the good endings are very cute, and show how much rookie respects jpg!
• the club penguin magazines have a collection of both games and comics within them, most of them even involving dedicated pages to jpg himself! i USED to have a written sheet of which penguins appeared in which issues, but thats long gone now sooo :( i'll definitely remake it for my club penguin shrine buuut u guys will have to go on my word that JPG DOES APPEAR IN THESE COMICS I PROMMYYYYY HES VERY PREVELANT
• rookie on the rocks is an ao3 fic written by ripplestarfairy and hoooly fuck i love it so much. NO it isnt anything BAD its a rewrite what-if scenario if jpg had been there ALONE to save rookie (rookie on the rocks ds mission), it is like, literally the only fic on ao3 that rlly encapsulates jpg's personality and also i love playful sass dot. it's very good pls read!
